Wendy and Chris have been happily married for almost 5 years and figured a portrait session was a great way to celebrate. I met Wendy a few years back at one of my boudoir marathons and so when she asked me to schedule them in for a fun session, I was totally excited. Then when she asked if they could dress up and wear their wedding attire for some of the session, I was utterly dying for June to arrive. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we had such a great time. We dedicated half of the time to their “just because” style session. After five years of marriage a coupled knows that the reasons behind something are not always as important, and that doing something “just because” is reason enough. The second half of the session was devoted to reliving and reloving (is that a word?) the dress. Really. Who would not love to wear their wedding dress again and be so relaxed in it and with yourself that you just get to enjoy the experience? It was a blast and I would like to believe that these two had a great time relaxing in the grasses and on the sand…
