When I was thinking about this post I kept thinking about all of the behind-the-scenes people who help make my business as great as it is. There are so many: my adoring husband; my child; my family; friends; other close vendors; my clients. I truly couldn’t do any of this without your support. But this post is for one gal in particular right now. My amazing assistant Jenny.
This post is bittersweet for me. I truly feel like I cannot say enough good things about Jenny. Without her, I would not be nearly as organized or as level headed. She is my “jack of all trades” and has been for some time now. She is the reader of maps, the person who keeps me calm if I take a wrong turn, the person who opens my drink for our quick snack in the car and the person who RULES at getting the family photos done in a timely & efficient manner. She makes me laugh when I am stressing and is always beside me with a smile on her face ready to jump into action whenever I may need her throughout an event. She started out in my life as a client, transitioned into a super duper assistant and has ended up becoming a very dear friend. I love her to pieces and totally do not mention her enough. So why am I thanking her and telling you all about how fabulous she is? Jenny and her hubby Dennis are expecting their first baby in just a few short weeks. So exciting! I cannot wait for them to begin this chapter in their lives and am really excited to meet their new arrival BUT this obviously means that Jenny is not going to be my right-hand gal anymore (or at least for awhile). So it is bittersweet. So Jenny, thank you. So very much. And good luck.

Cora, that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me thank you so much. I have loved working with you. The best thing about my “fun” job is that I got a great friend out of it. I have learned so much from you about photography and life and can’t thank you enough. I can’t wait for our for our photo-shoots coming up. Thank you again.
oh what a touching post, Jenn deserves all these praise and more. Even to this day it surprises me when our clients become our friends. Jenn is one of those special ones. Can’t wait to meet wee little one Jenn!!!
