Olive’s newborn session was a wee bit different than my normal in-studio session. But as we all know, sometimes you have to switch things up in order to catch life as it happens. Olive made a very unexpected and brave entry into the world 11 weeks early so now that her hospital stay is finished and she has finally arrived home it was time for her very first photo session to show off just how amazing she is. Olive was just 3 lbs when she was born and now she is an amazing 7 lbs so even though she is just newborn sized, she is already 11 weeks old and totally uninterested in being molded and posed. Lol! So we went for a more relaxed and natural session and I ADORE the results. To me, I see the happiness and love and pure excitement of Olive being home and safe in her parents arms. And that is the best feeling of any parent. So hold your loved ones close tonight and remember to cherish what you have.

Today is also Olive’s actual due date (I know totally crazy) so happy due-date Olive and congratulations again to Michelle & Wayne! You inspire me with your optimism and Olive is just as lucky to have you both as you are to have her. I hope to see you all again very soon.
